Your first step in securing birth/postpartum support! We will discuss your needs and goals, as well as discuss my role in your journey during a 15 minute introductory phone call.

In-Person Support

In-Person Labor Support – $2000

Continuous, in-person support during your labor, delivery and immediate postpartum period. Using my expertise after attending hundreds of births as a board-certified labor nurse (RNC-OB, C-EFM) for over a decade, I will guide you through labor, support your pain management goals, explain medical terminology and interventions, and help you advocate for the birth you want. The 2017 Cochrane Review found that birthing persons with continuous, in-person labor support had fewer cesarean sections and assisted vaginal births, reduced use of pain medication and regional anesthesia, and are more likely to have a positive birth experience. Labor support includes 1 in-person prenatal visit to discuss your goals, assistance with building your birth plan, unlimited virtual support throughout your pregnancy, on-call support beginning at 38 weeks, and 1 in-person postpartum visit.

“Welcome Home”, In-Home Postpartum Support – $500

Need help settling in at home with your new baby? This package includes 1 prenatal visit to discuss your postpartum goals, and 10 hours of in-home support. In-home visits include emotional guidance, feeding friendly support, newborn care and light housework. You will also receive the Raising Moms Postpartum Guide and unlimited virtual support starting from the day you deliver! (Minimum 2 hour increments for in-home visits, must be used within 6 weeks from your delivery date. Upgrade to overnight care for $5/hr. For newborns ages birth-12 weeks)

“First Forty Days”, In-Home Postpartum Support – $1500

The most comprehensive package! This package includes 1 prenatal visit to discuss your postpartum goals, and 30 hours of in-home support to use at your discretion. In-home visits include emotional guidance, feeding friendly support, newborn care and light housework. You will also receive the Raising Moms Postpartum Guide and unlimited virtual support! (Minimum 2 hour increments for in-home visits, must be used within 6 weeks from your delivery date. Upgrade to overnight care for $5/hr. For newborns ages birth-12 weeks)

A la Carte In-Person Support

Don’t need a whole package? Build your own and pay as you go! The same postpartum doula services with more flexibility. Overnights require a 6 hour minimum, daytime services require a 2 hour minimum. Text support and the Raising Moms Postpartum Guide is not included in a la carte hours.

Night Owl (10pm-6am) – $55/hr

Daytime – $50/hr

Education

Raising Moms also offers childbirth, postpartum, and newborn care education! Classes are held virtually and in-person throughout the year. Please visit the EVENTS page to see when the upcoming classes are being held!

Private “Informed & Empowered Childbirth” Education– $150

Learn everything you and your partner need to know about labor and childbirth from a labor nurse! This course will cover signs of labor, pain management techniques, what to expect during your hospital stay, hospital interventions, and how to communicate effectively with your birth team, infant feeding and more! This private, 4 hour course can be done in-person or virtually and can be customized to your needs.

Private “Empowered Postpartum” Education– $100

While there are many resources to prepare for childbirth, we spend little time preparing for what happens AFTER you bring baby home. Empowered Postpartum is Raising Moms’ flagship course! Topics include newborn care basics such a infant feeding, soothing, bathing and caring for your baby, what to expect for your postpartum physical recovery, and how to prepare yourself for a successful journey through the fourth trimester. This private, 2 hour course can be done in-person or virtually, and can be customized to your needs.

Virtual Support

“Postpartum BFF”, Virtual Support – $450

For moms who just need a little extra love, virtual support is a great option! Weekly virtual meetings (~30 min) via FaceTime/Zoom to offer emotional support, newborn care advice, breast/bottle feeding tips, and evidence-based answers to all your postpartum questions. This package will also include 1 virtual prenatal visit to discuss your postpartum goals plus unlimited text support for 6 weeks.

“Labor BFF”, Virtual Support – $500

Not sure if you’re in labor? Have questions about how to manage your pain while in labor? Need help translating hospital lingo? Instead of waiting all day for your provider to message you back or doom scrolling on Google you’ll have me, a board certified registered nurse (RNC-OB, C-EFM) available to answer all your questions. This package includes 1 virtual prenatal visit to discuss your labor goals plus unlimited text support starting at 38 weeks through 48 hours post delivery.
